Constructed from weathering steel (Corten steel) and designed for intermodal transport, this 45-foot high cube shipping container offers increased cubic capacity compared to standard 40-foot units. The container is engineered to withstand harsh weather conditions during transport and storage. Its extended length and added height make it suitable for a variety of commercial, industrial, and storage applications. Each unit is manufactured to ISO standards, ensuring structural integrity and stackability. This product is a durable steel container intended for the secure transportation or storage of cargo.

Detailed Description
This forty-five-foot high cube shipping container is fabricated from high-tensile weathering steel, commonly known as Corten steel. This material was selected for its ability to form a protective oxide layer when exposed to the elements, reducing the need for painting and minimizing long-term corrosion. The floor is constructed from marine-grade plywood, which is both durable and treated to resist moisture ingress.
The container’s extended length accommodates cargo that would not fit within a standard forty-foot unit, such as piping, timber, or production line equipment. The increased height (high cube) allows for taller racking systems or vertical storage configurations. All structural components, including the side walls, roof panels, and cross members, are welded and riveted according to established manufacturing protocols to maintain torsional rigidity during lifting.
Access is provided via a pair of rear doors constructed from the same Corten steel as the body. These doors seal against weather-resistant gaskets and are secured by cam lock bars with protective housing. The door opening is designed to the full width of the container, allowing palletized cargo to be loaded and unloaded efficiently. Ventilation is provided by passive vents located in the end panels, which promote airflow while preventing water ingress.
This container is suitable for use as a secure storage solution on construction sites, as a transport module for international shipping lines, or as a base structure for modification projects. It is inspected to verify structural integrity, door function, and floor condition prior to delivery.
