Detailed Description
This 20-foot High Cube Shipping Container Office is fabricated from Corten steel, which is known for its durability and corrosion-resistant properties. The unit is wind and water tight, ensuring the interior remains protected from the elements. It is insulated throughout to moderate interior temperatures and reduce external noise.
The conversion process focuses on creating a functional workspace. Specifically, the electrical system includes overhead LED lighting and multiple electrical outlets, making it ready for office equipment. The interior walls are lined with finished plywood, providing a clean surface ready for painting or customization by the owner. Ventilation is provided via a standard wall-mounted unit.
Portability is a key aspect of its design. The structure retains its original corner castings, which are rated for lifting and transportation. It can be delivered via flatbed truck and placed on a prepared level surface, concrete blocks, or a foundation. It is important to note that local building codes and permit requirements should be consulted prior to installation.
