Detailed Description

This 20ft Shipping Container Toilet Block offers a robust alternative to temporary plastic units, providing the security and permanence of a steel structure with the convenience of portability. It is an ideal solution for project managers and site supervisors needing to install hygienic amenities quickly.

The unit starts as a standard high-cube shipping container, which is then stripped and modified. The interior framework is reinforced to support the fitout, while the exterior remains a durable, stackable, and lockable container. The internal walls are finished with a moisture-resistant paneling system for easy cleaning and maintenance . Flooring consists of a non-slip, heavy-duty material suitable for high-traffic areas and resistant to moisture .

Plumbing is pre-installed within the unit’s floor void, with main supply and waste connections located externally via standardized coupling points for quick setup on-site. The sanitaryware selected is standard commercial-grade ceramic, chosen for durability and ease of replacement . The electrical system is run in protective conduit and terminates in a single external connection box, simplifying hookup to a site generator or mains power supply.
