20ft Side Door One Trip Shipping Container/conversion/bar

20ft Side Door One Trip Shipping Container

This 20-foot shipping container is a one-trip unit, signifying it has been used for a single ocean crossing from its point of manufacture. Constructed from corrosion-resistant Corten steel, this container is wind and watertight and maintains structural integrity suitable for ground-level storage, transport, or as a base for customization projects .

Key Features

• One-Trip Condition: Used for a single international voyage, resulting in minimal wear and a like-new appearance .

• Full-Side Door Access: One entire side of the container opens fully, providing an unobstructed 19-foot wide opening for forklift loading, palletized goods, or easy access for conversion projects .

• Standard End Doors: Equipped with the traditional rear double doors, featuring integrated locking gear and door holders for security and ease of use.

• Forklift Pockets: Integrated pockets on the base allow for standard forklift or pallet jack handling during transport and positioning.

• Ventilated Design: Passive vents are located on each end to promote airflow and reduce internal condensation .

Detailed Description

This 20ft side door container offers a versatile solution for applications requiring more than just standard end-door access. The primary feature is the full-length side door, which folds back to allow the entire interior to be accessed from the side. This is particularly useful for loading bulky items like machinery, vehicles, or large volumes of palletized cargo that cannot be easily maneuvered through the rear doors .

As a “one-trip” unit, this container represents the highest quality grade available in the used market . Manufactured primarily in Asia and shipped to the US for its first and only voyage, these containers are typically less than two years old. They exhibit only superficial cosmetic marks from transit, such as minor scuffs or small dents, with no structural wear or rust . This condition makes it an ideal candidate for secure, long-term storage or as a premium shell for conversion projects like mobile bars, pop-up shops, or on-site workshops .

The unit is constructed with a marine-grade plywood floor and a standard locking system on both the rear and side doors. The steel construction ensures the contents are protected from the elements, maintaining a wind and watertight seal when the doors are closed .
